"Hello! I’m Patricia Mathis, founder and CEO of Classic Services. I was raised in Kenansville/Magnolia by a single mother who instilled in me very early on that I could achieve anything I set my mind to.

 

I attended James Kenan High School and continued my education at NCCU and Durham Tech, paving my way into the medical field as a medical assistant and LPN. I utilized this knowledge to work in various nursing homes, as well as Duke Hospital from 2006-2014. Every step of the way I never stopped trying to help anyone whose path crossed mine.

It was with that tenacious spirit that in 1993, I started Classic Cleaning with Marcus Brinson. While building this business from the ground up, I pressed pause on my passion for healthcare and continued to think of how to best serve my community. 

 

In 2019, my heart was set on building a tree of businesses to do just that, and Classic Services began. Many long nights of dedication and persistence have brought me to this point: in August 2020, my tree grew a branch with the addition of Classic Home Health Care & Counseling Services. In December 2020 another branch, our non-profit Classic Caring Hearts, was created with the intention of helping women and families here in North Carolina. 

 

This family-owned business of Classic Services has plenty of limbs left to grow as a place to offer our community the best of care, where perfection and safety are our priorities.
